About Me

I’ve been an IT consultant, an IT analyst, and an author for over twenty years. In short, I’m a nerd. For years my wife and I worked as technical editors, a role in computer book publishing where we verified all of the technical aspects of the books to confirm the authors work, and then as revisers, where we actually wrote new material for updated editions. In other words, when a new version of an OS or application rolled out, we’d update the old book for the new release.

First, here’s my book published in 2015, Getting an IT Help Desk Job for Dummies. I’ve included the book page marketing copy from the Barnes & Noble’s site:

Yep! Every word in those 288 pages is mine!!

In general, I like technology, sci-fi, the Art of Animation in all its forms, music in many genres but mostly progressive and AAA rock, video games and classic consoles, humanism, and people with a weird sense of humor. I write what I want to and will always skew towards human-centric on any subject.

You’ll find my little notes on humanism and current events in the postscripts at the end of posts.

And now a touch of fun with photo editing apps...
